data protection

We welcome you to visit our website and thank you for your interest in our company. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process your data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions for the protection of personal data, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DS-GVO) and the country-specific implementation laws that apply to us. With the help of this data protection declaration, we provide you with comprehensive information about the processing of your personal data by Bechtle and your rights.

Personal data is the information that enables a natural person to be identified. This includes in particular your name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address and your IP address. Anonymous data is available if no personal reference can be made to the user.

Your rights as a data subject

First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to inform you about your rights as a data subject. These rights are standardized in Articles 15 - 22 EU GDPR. This includes:

  • The right to information (Art. 15 EU-DS-GVO),
  • The right to erasure (Art. 17 EU-DS-GVO),
  • The right to rectification (Art. 16 EU-DS-GVO),
  • The right to data portability (Art. 20 EU GDPR),
  • The right to restrict data processing (Art. 18 EU-DS-GVO),
  • The right to object to data processing (Art. 21 EU-DS-GVO).

To exercise these rights, please contact: datenschutz-ag@bechtle.com. The same applies if you have any questions about data processing in our company. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Right of objection

Please note the following in connection with the right of objection:

If we process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object to this data processing at any time without giving reasons. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to direct mail.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes. The objection is free of charge and can be made informally, if possible to: contact@bechtle.com.

In the event that we process your data to safeguard legitimate interests, you can object to this processing at any time for reasons that arise from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can prove compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Purposes and legal basis of data processing

When processing your personal data, the provisions of the EU GDPR and all other applicable data protection provisions are complied with. The legal basis for data processing results in particular from Art. 6 EU-DS-GVO.

We use your data to initiate business, to fulfill contractual and legal obligations, to implement the contractual relationship, to offer products and services and to strengthen customer relationships, which can also include analyzes for marketing purposes, customer satisfaction surveys and direct advertising.

Your consent also constitutes a permission provision under data protection law. Here we clarify the purposes of data processing and your right of withdrawal. If the consent also relates to the processing of special categories of personal data, we will expressly point this out to you in the consent, Art. 88 Para. 1 EU-DS-GVO.

A processing of special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 Paragraph 1 EU-DS-GVO only takes place if this is necessary due to legal regulations and there is no reason to assume that your legitimate interest in the exclusion of processing outweighs, Art. 88 Paragraph 1 EU GDPR.

Transfer to third parties

We will only pass on your data to third parties within the framework of the statutory provisions or with the appropriate consent. Otherwise, the data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are obliged to do so due to mandatory legal provisions (disclosure to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement authorities).

Recipients of the data / categories of recipients

Within our company, we ensure that only those persons receive your data who need it to fulfill contractual and legal obligations.

Through our web shop, purchase agreements are concluded with "Bechtle direct GmbH", which is the Bechtle subsidiary responsible for this sales channel.

In the course of purchases and inquiries, other Bechtle companies may be involved. An example is a request for support at your site, which should expediently be processed by a nearby Bechtle location.

In some cases, service providers support our specialist departments in fulfilling their tasks, e.g. sending out newsletters. The necessary data protection agreements have been concluded with all service providers.

Third country transfer / intention to transfer to third country

A data transfer to third countries (countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) only takes place if this is required by law or if you have given us your consent or if this is necessary to carry out the contractual relationship.

This is currently the case if you use our chat function for inquiries because a service provider outside the European Economic Area who makes this function available to us has access to your personal data. Compliance with the level of data protection is guaranteed, among other things, by certification or participation or in the so-called "Privacy Shield":

Cisco participates in the frameworks and principles of the EU-US data protection shield and has had its compliance certified. Further information on the topic of Privacy Shield can be found at: https://www.privacyshield.gov/Program-Overview.

Storage duration of the data

We store your data as long as it is required for the respective processing purpose. Please note that numerous retention periods require that data (must) continue to be stored. This applies in particular to retention obligations under commercial or tax law (e.g. commercial code, tax code, etc.). If there are no further retention requirements, the data will be routinely deleted after the purpose has been achieved.

In addition, we can store data if you have given us your permission to do so or if there are legal disputes and we use evidence within the framework of statutory limitation periods, which can be up to thirty years; the regular limitation period is three years.

Secure transmission of your data

In order to protect the data stored by us as best as possible against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons, we use appropriate technical and organizational security measures. The security levels are continuously checked in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.

The data exchange from and to our website is encrypted. We offer HTTPS as the transmission protocol for our website, using the latest encryption protocols.

We also offer our users content encryption for the contact forms and for applications. The decryption of this data is only possible for us. There is also the option of using alternative communication channels (e.g. by post).

Obligation to provide the data

Various personal data are necessary for the establishment, implementation and termination of the contractual relationship and the fulfillment of the related contractual and legal obligations. The same applies to the use of our website and the various functions it provides.

We have summarized the details for you in the point above. In certain cases, data must also be collected or made available due to legal provisions. Please note that it is not possible to process your request or to carry out the underlying contractual relationship without providing this data.

Categories, sources and origin of the data

The respective context determines which data we process: This depends on whether you place an order online or enter an inquiry in our contact form, whether you send us an application or submit a complaint.

Please note that we may also provide information for special processing situations separately at a suitable location, e.g. when uploading application documents or when making a contact request.

When you visit our website, we collect and process the following data:

When you visit this website, your browser transmits the following types of data, which are stored by us:

  • the browser type,
  • the IP address of the accessing computer,
  • the server requests (e.g. page views) including time and
  • the referrer URL (ie the address of the previously visited website if you reached our website from there by clicking a hyperlink).

These first three data types are technically necessary in order to correctly display the pages of this website that you have accessed. In addition, they can be used if necessary to maintain the secure operation of this website (e.g. to ward off hacking attempts). The referrer URL is used anonymously for statistical purposes. For reasons of technical security and in particular to ward off attempted attacks on our web server, this type of data is also stored for a certain period in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit.

As part of a contact request, we collect and process the following data:

With the help of our website you can send us various inquiries, e.g. to order a catalog or to inquire about certain products. A chat, a callback request and an e-mail-like message are available for this.

A contact form is used to record the contact details necessary for communication (e.g. name, telephone number or email address) and to record the content of your message. This data is used for customer relationship management (contact history) and to answer / fulfill your request.

As part of the ordering process, we process the following data:

In the webshop, which is integrated into this website, you as a company (business customer) can order information technology products.

For order processing, contact details, your billing / delivery address and payment details (bank account or similar) are required.

In the course of orders, credit checks may be carried out under certain circumstances. You will be shown details of this during the ordering process. We will only have your creditworthiness checked if you consent to this.

We collect and process the following data for online applications:

  • Master data (e.g. name, additions to names, date of birth, possibly title),
  • Contact details (postal address, telephone number, email address),
  • Qualification and training data (e.g. curriculum vitae, certificates),
  • Depending on the job posting, information on language and IT skills, work and driving permits or residence permits may also be provided.

In addition, we collect and process various other (voluntary) information such as earliest entry date, regional mobility, desired number of hours and duration of employment, previous employment at Bechtle, information on your social commitment or information on how you became aware of the position. On a voluntary basis, there is also the option of uploading application-relevant information via your own profile on social networks to our portal.

In order to protect the security and confidentiality of your data as best as possible, we implement appropriate security measures. Your application documents are encrypted and transmitted to us by our application system. The precautions for data backup always correspond to the current state of the art.

We save your data in the application process in accordance with applicable law and delete it after six months at the latest. Beyond that, the data will only be stored in those cases in which we are obliged or authorized to do so, e.g. if you have given us permission to store your data for a specific, longer period of time or for the exercise of rights.

Regulations that oblige us to keep them can be found, for example, in the Commercial Code or in the Tax Code. Limitation periods must also be observed. Further information can be found in the data protection declaration as part of the application process.

We collect and process the following data for newsletters:

  • salutation
  • Name first Name,
  • E-mail address.
  • We also carry out anonymized link tracking for statistical purposes.

Automated individual decisions

Please note that we generally do not use purely automated processing processes to bring about a decision.

Contact form / contact via email, chat or phone

There is a contact form on our website that can be used to contact us electronically. If you write to us using the contact form, we will process the data you provide in the contact form to contact you and answer your questions and requests.

The principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed here, in that you only have to provide the data that we absolutely need to contact you. These are your email address and the message field itself.

In addition, your IP address is processed for reasons of technical security and to ward off any attempted attacks. All other data are voluntary fields and can be entered optionally (e.g. to answer your questions more individually).

If you contact us by email, we will process the personal data communicated in the email solely for the purpose of processing your request.

You also have the option to contact us via chat or to leave a callback request. The chat history is stored on internal servers for 30 days for follow-up and then deleted.

Newsletter (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO)

You can subscribe to a free newsletter on our website. The e-mail address and your name given when registering for the newsletter will be used to send the personalized newsletter.

The principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed here, as only the e-mail address and your name are marked as mandatory fields for personalization. For technical reasons and for legal protection, your IP address will also be processed when you order the newsletter

You can of course unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the newsletter and thus revoke your consent. There is also the option of unsubscribing from the newsletter dispatch directly via our website at any time.

Webshop (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b EU-DS-GVO)

We only process the data you provide in the order form for the implementation or processing of the contractual relationship, unless you consent to further use.

The principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed in that you only have to provide us with the data that we absolutely need to carry out the contract or to fulfill our contractual obligations (i.e. your name, address, e-mail address as well as those for the selected payment method required payment data) or which we are legally obliged to collect.

In addition, your IP address is processed for technical reasons and for legal protection. Without this data, we will unfortunately have to refuse to conclude the contract, as we will then not be able to carry it out or we may have to terminate an existing contract. Of course, you can also enter more data of your own accord if you wish.

Registration / customer account (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a, b EU-DS-GVO)

On our website, we offer users the opportunity to register by providing personal data. The advantage is that you can see the order history in particular and the data you provide will be saved for the order form. If you order again, you do not have to enter it again.

Registration is therefore necessary either to fulfill a contract (via our online shop) with you or to carry out pre-contractual measures.

The principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed here, as only the data required for registration are marked as mandatory fields with an asterisk (*). These are, for example, the e-mail address and password, including password repetition.

For orders in our online shop, we also need information on the billing address (title, first name, last name, address) for delivery. If the delivery address differs from the billing address, the above information must also be provided for the delivery address.

By registering on our website, the IP address of the user, the date and time of registration are also saved (technical background data). By clicking the “Register now” button, you give your consent to the processing of your data.

Please note: The password you have assigned is stored in encrypted form by us. Employees of our company cannot read this password. Therefore, they cannot give you any information if you have forgotten your password.

In this case, use the "Forgot password" function, which will send you an automatically generated new password by email. No employee is authorized to ask for your password by telephone or in writing. Therefore, please never give your password if you receive such inquiries.

When the registration process is completed, your data is stored with us for use in the protected customer area. As soon as you log on to our website with your email address as a user name and password, this data is made available for actions you have carried out on our website (e.g. for orders in our online shop). Executed orders can be traced in the order history. You can specify changes to the billing or delivery address here.

Registered persons are free to make changes / corrections to the billing or delivery address in the order history themselves. Our customer service will also be happy to make changes / corrections if you contact them. Of course, you can also cancel or delete your registration or your customer account.

Payment systems (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a, b EU-DS-GVO), credit check (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f EU-DS-GVO)

In our online shop you can pay by invoice, credit card and PayPal. For this purpose, the respective payment-relevant data is collected in order to be able to carry out your order and payment processing. In addition, your IP address is processed for technical reasons and for legal protection.

The principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed in that you only have to provide us with the data that we absolutely need to process the payment and thus process the contract or that we are legally obliged to collect.

Without this data, we will unfortunately have to refuse to conclude the contract, as we will then not be able to carry it out.

The payment system we use uses SSL encryption for the protected transmission of your data.

Note on invoice payment: If you choose the invoice payment method in our online shop, we will carry out a credit check. For this purpose, the creditworthiness-relevant data is transmitted to Creditsafe to determine creditworthiness and default risks.

Note on credit card payments: As usual with credit card payments, our service provider Wirecard checks the credit card details and carries out a credit check.

Note on PayPal: PayPal is a company of PayPal (Europe) S.à rl et Cie, SCA 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. If the person concerned selects “PayPal” as the payment option in our online shop during the ordering process, the data of the person concerned will be automatically transmitted to PayPal.

By selecting this payment option, the person concerned consents to the transfer of personal data required for payment processing. The personal data transmitted to PayPal are usually first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, telephone number, mobile phone number or other data that are necessary for payment processing.

In order to process the purchase contract, personal data related to the respective order is also necessary. Details on data protection at PayPal can be found at: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-prev (for the legal situation from May 25, 2018).

Note on direct debit: As usual with direct debit, your account details are collected in order to debit the corresponding amount from your account.

Advertising purposes for existing customers (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f EU-DS-GVO)

Bechtle is interested in maintaining customer relationships with you and providing you with information and offers about our products / services. We therefore process your data in order to send you relevant information and offers by email and for customer satisfaction surveys.

If you do not wish this, you can object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to direct mail. If you object, we will no longer process your data for this purpose.

The objection can be made free of charge and informally without giving reasons and should, if possible, be sent to + 49 7132 981-0 by email contact@bechtle.com or by post to Bechtle Platz 1, 74172 Neckarsulm

Applicant portal (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a, b EU-DS-GVO)

Thank you for your interest in working at Bechtle. We are aware of the importance of your data and process the personal data you provide in the application form only for the purpose of effectively and correctly handling the application process and for establishing contact during the application process. The data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

As part of the application form, you will be asked to provide personal data. In doing so, we observe the principle of data economy and data avoidance, in that you only have to provide us with the data that we need to fully review your application documents, such as your curriculum vitae or the collection of which we are legally obliged. These mandatory details are marked with an * (asterisk). Your IP address will also be processed for technical reasons and for legal protection.

Without this data, we unfortunately cannot check your application documents, which is why our application system does not allow you to upload the application documents in this case. Of course, you have the option of providing voluntary information in the application form.

In order to protect the security and confidentiality of your data as best as possible, we implement appropriate security measures. Your application documents are encrypted and transmitted to us by our application system.

We store your data for the above-mentioned purposes until the application process has been completed and the relevant deadlines have expired - no later than six months after receipt of a decision. However, you have the option for us to save your application documents for a longer period and compare them with other vacancies that match your profile.

For this we need your consent, which you can give us by clicking the checkbox before uploading your application documents. In this case we will save your data for 365 days. You can of course give your consent at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future by e-mail to Bechtle AG data protection e-mail: datenschutz-ag@bechtle.com. Further information can be found in the data protection declaration as part of the application process.

Cookies (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f EU-DS-GVO / Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a EU-DS-GVO with consent)

Our website uses at several locations so-called cookies. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and that your browser saves (locally on your hard drive).

These cookies enable us to analyze how users use our websites. In this way we can design the website content according to the needs of the visitors. In addition, the cookies allow us to measure the effectiveness of a particular ad and to place it, for example, depending on the thematic user interests.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". These are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies are automatically deleted from your computer when their period of validity (usually six months) has expired or you delete them yourself before the period of validity expires.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. You can usually change the settings of your browser if you prefer not to send the information. You can still use the offers on our website without restrictions (exception: configurators).

Cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted to our site from there. As a user, you therefore have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers.

A session cookie is required for ordering processes in the shop and for logging in to this website. This means that your browser session can actually be assigned to you. As the name "session cookie" suggests, this cookie is deleted when you close your browser. It is also possible to simply view the individual pages of this website without cookies (for example by deactivating them with a corresponding add-on in your browser).

User profiles / web tracking process

For advertising, market research and the needs-based design of the website, pseudonymous user profiles are created on this website - partly with the help of service providers. These usage profiles are pseudonymized (on the web server) so that only anonymous data (ie no personal or personally identifiable data such as your IP address) is sent to the service provider.

Your personal data mentioned under points 1 and 2 will not be merged with the usage profiles. This means that your usage profile does not have your name and, conversely, nobody knows what your usage profile looks like.

Web tracking (ie the collection of data for these usage profiles) is done with the help of usage profile cookies and active content (so-called scripts). With these cookies, the web server can recognize you during your browser session and - if the cookie has not been removed in the meantime - during your next session.

You can object to the creation of user profiles of your surfing behavior on this website with the following button:

Contradiction

If you press the button, no usage profile cookies are stored on your computer and the web tracking scripts are not executed.

Rather, a “no tracking cookie” is then stored on your computer. With it, your objection (for the current and future browser sessions) is taken into account for as long as this cookie exists.

In detail, the following web trackers are used on this website to create pseudonymous user profiles (unless you have objected):

Webtrekk

This web analysis service from Webtrekk GmbH is used to determine the response to our website and offers and to optimize them accordingly.

A few cookies are used for this, e.g. a session cookie, a last-click cookie and an ever cookie (for recognition across multiple browser sessions). The longest-lived cookie, the Ever-Cookie, loses its validity after six months at the latest, ie it is then deleted by your browser.

We also use the technologies of Webtrekk GmbH for the statistical evaluation of the websites. Webtrekk GmbH is a company based in Germany, Robert-Koch-Platz 4, 10115 Berlin, that collects, stores and analyzes usage data. It has been certified for data protection in the area of web controlling in Germany after its data processing has been checked for data protection compliance and data security. With the help of the Webtrekk services, we collect statistical data on the use of our website. This data is used to permanently improve and optimize our offers and thus to make them more interesting for you.

When you use this website, information that your browser transmits is collected and evaluated. This is done using cookie technology and so-called pixels, which are integrated on every website. The following data is collected: Request (file name of the requested file), browser type / version, browser language, operating system used, internal resolution of the browser window, screen resolution, Javascript activation, Java on / off, cookies on / off, color depth, referrer URL, IP Address (is only collected anonymously and deleted immediately after its use), time of access, clicks, order values, shopping baskets and anonymized form content (for example whether a telephone number was given or not).

Webtrekk uses so-called session cookies, which are deleted when you end your browser session. The same applies to the "last click cookies". In addition, “ever cookies” are set, the duration of which does not exceed 6 months and which are deleted at the latest after a defined number of uses. The usage data will not be merged with other data about the bearer of the pseudonym. They will be deleted when the storage is no longer necessary for the creation of the usage analysis or the user requests this.

A direct personal reference is impossible at any time. The data collected in this way are used to create anonymous usage profiles that form the basis for web statistics. The data collected with the Webtrekk technologies will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website without the separate consent of the person concerned and will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym at any time. You can object to data collection and storage by Webtrekk at any time with future effect. To do this, please open the following link.

Contradiction

Output and display CookieID Disclosure.

By confirming the link, a so-called opt-out cookie is set on your data carrier. This cookie is valid for 5 years. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your computer, this opt-out cookie will also be deleted, ie if you want to continue to object to the anonymous data collection by Webtrekk, you will have to set the opt-out cookie again. The opt-out cookie is set per browser and computer. If you visit our website from home and work or with different browsers, you have to activate the opt-out cookie in the different browsers or on the different computers.

Google AdWords

We also use the Google advertising tool “Google Adwords” to advertise our website. As part of this, we use the "Conversion Tracking" analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google", on our website. If you reached our website via a Google ad, a cookie will be placed on your computer.

Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores and saves on your computer. These so-called conversion cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that you, as a user, clicked on one of our advertisements placed on Google and were forwarded to our site.

The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookies is used by Google to create visit statistics for our website. These statistics tell us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and which pages of our website were subsequently accessed by the respective user. However, we or other advertisers via Google Adwords do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

You can prevent the installation of the conversion cookies by setting your browser accordingly, for example using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or specifically only blocks cookies from the “googleadservices.com” domain. You can obtain the relevant data protection declaration from Google under the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html.

Social plugins of social networks

Advertising and conversion cookies are used to make advertising more relevant to you and based on your interests, including on other websites outside of our offer. This also prevents, among other things, the same advertisements being shown to you again and again.

With these cookies we can also measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on the basis of anonymized and pseudonymous usage profiles and understand how users interact with our advertising material or what actions the users have carried out after interacting with the respective advertising material (so-called "conversion"):

Use of Facebook

With your consent, our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) for conversion measurement. In this way, the behavior of the page visitors can be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad.

This enables the effectiveness of the Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized. The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data usage guidelines.

This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. As the website operator, we cannot influence this use of the data. A cookie can also be stored on your computer for these purposes. You will find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook's data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also use the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” in the advertising settings area under

https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen

deactivate. To do this, you have to be logged in to Facebook. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance:

Use of LinkedIn

This website uses the analysis and conversion tracking technology of LinkedIn Inc. ("LinkedIn"), 2029 Stierlin Ct. Ste. 200 Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. With the aforementioned technology from LinkedIn, you can be shown more relevant advertising based on your interests.

We also receive aggregated and anonymous reports on ad activity and information about how you interact with our website from LinkedIn. However, LinkedIn is able to assign your visit to our site to your LinkedIn user account.

We have no influence on the data that LinkedIn collects through this, nor over the scope of this data collected by LinkedIn. We also have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted to LinkedIn.

Further information on data protection at LinkedIn can be found here:

https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig

You can object to the analysis of your usage behavior by LinkedIn and the display of interest-based recommendations (“opt-out”); click on the field "Reject on LinkedIn" (for LinkedIn members) or "Reject" (for other users) under https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.

Links to other providers

Our website also contains - clearly recognizable - links to the websites of other companies. As far as there are links to websites of other providers, we have no influence on their content. Therefore no guarantee or liability can be assumed for this content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of these pages.

The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations and recognizable legal violations at the time they were linked. No illegal content was found at the time the link was created. A permanent control of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation of the law. Upon notification of rights violations, such links will be removed promptly.

Online offers for children

Persons under the age of 16 may not transmit any personal data to us or give a declaration of consent without the consent of their legal guardian. We encourage parents and guardians to actively participate in their children's online activities and interests.

Google Analytics

In order to improve the quality of our offers and website, we store data about each individual access to our website for statistical purposes. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). The use takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest (ie interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer) within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website such as

  • Browser type / version,
  • operating system used,
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
  • Time of the server request,

are usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. We have also added the code “anonymizeIP” to Google Analytics on this website. This guarantees that your IP address is masked so that all data is collected anonymously. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases.

The personal data of the users will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months.

Social media

Bechtle AG maintains various appearances in the "social media" in order to communicate with customers, interested parties and users registered there and to be able to inform them about our offers.

We point out that you use these platforms and their functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating).

We would also like to point out that your data can be processed outside of the European Union. With regard to US providers who are certified under the "Privacy Shield", we would like to point out that these providers undertake to comply with EU data protection standards.

In addition, your data can be processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created from your usage behavior and the resulting interests. In this way, for example, advertisements can be placed inside and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to your interests. For this purpose, cookies are usually stored on your computer. Regardless of this, data that is not collected directly from your end device can also be stored in the usage profiles (especially if you are a member of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).

As the provider of this information service, we do not collect or process any data from your use of our service.

The processing of the users' personal data takes place on the basis of our legitimate interests in effective information for users and communication with users in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) of the EU GDPR. If you are asked for your consent to data processing by the respective provider (i.e. give your consent, e.g. by ticking a check box or confirming a button), the legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a., Art. 7 EU -DS-GMO.

Opposition possibility

If you are a member of a social network and do not want the network to collect data about you through our website and link it to your stored member data in the respective network, you must

  • log out of the respective network before visiting our website,
  • delete the cookies on the device and
  • Quit and restart your browser.

After logging in again, however, you can again be recognized by the network as a specific user.

For a detailed description of the respective processing and the possibilities of objection (opt-out), we refer to the information provided by the providers linked below.

Also in the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights, we point out that these can be most effectively asserted with the providers. Only the providers have access to the data of the users and can take appropriate measures and provide information directly. If you still need help, you can contact us.

Notes on copyright and art copyright law

If you want to publish pictures, texts, plans, videos, music, etc. on our website, you should know that you may thereby assign all rights of use to the network, which could ultimately have legal consequences for you if you are not the author yourself or are rights holders.

Registration for events

There is a registration form for events on our website.

If you use this to register for an event, we will process the data you provided in the registration form for registration and communication with you.

The principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed here, in that you only have to provide the data that we absolutely need to register and contact you. This is your email address and your name.

In addition, your IP address is processed for reasons of technical security and to ward off any attempted attacks. All other data are voluntary fields and can be entered optionally.

In the case of joint events with manufacturers, your data will also be forwarded to the co-organizer.

By registering for our corporate events, you also consent to the publication of photos and videos by the corporate communications department of Bechtle AG (Bechtle Platz 1, 74172 Neckarsulm, socialmedia@bechtle.com) a.

The corporate communications of Bechtle AG intends to post the photos and videos created during a corporate event on the company's own social media presences (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Xing, Google+), intranet, Bechtle publications (e.g. customer magazine or newsletter) and to publish it on the corporate websites of the Bechtle Group (legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO / §§ 22, 23 KunstUrhG).

We would like to point out that publications in social media can also be transmitted to countries outside the EU.

The personal data will not be passed on to third parties beyond the above-mentioned cases and will only be used for the above-mentioned purpose. Photos and videos published on the Internet can be called up worldwide and further use of these photos and videos by third parties cannot generally be ruled out.

Consent to use the images is voluntary. Consent can be given at any time with effect for the future by email: socialmedia@bechtle.com / Tel .: 07132- 9814386.
